Important Privacy Warning

Please do not submit sensitive personal information into Covaris AI. Do not paste passport numbers, policy numbers, addresses, phone numbers, payment information, medical records, or unnecessary personal identifiers. If you paste insurance text, remove names, document numbers, addresses, and other personal identifiers first.

What We Collect

Covaris AI collects minimal data to provide our service. Specifically, we collect: anonymous session IDs, the visa type you selected, search queries you enter, which providers you clicked, and general usage patterns (employment type, travel details). We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily provide it in the chat.

What We Do Not Collect

Covaris AI does not intentionally request sensitive personal data. However, users may choose to enter information into the tool. Users are responsible for removing unnecessary personal identifiers before submitting text. We do not use cookies for tracking. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Chat Conversations

Your chat messages are sent to Anthropic’s Claude AI API to generate responses. Anthropic’s API does not use your data for AI model training. API inputs and outputs are automatically deleted from Anthropic’s servers after 7 days. We do not permanently store the full text of your conversations in our database.

Insurance Policy Text

If you paste your insurance policy text into the chat for analysis, this text is sent to Anthropic’s Claude API for processing. It is not stored in our database and is automatically deleted from Anthropic’s servers after 7 days. Please remove all personal identifiers before pasting policy text.

Search Data

When you use the search function, we log your search query and whether a result was found. This helps us understand which countries and visa types are most requested so we can improve our coverage. Search data is stored anonymously and cannot be linked to any individual.

Analytics

We collect anonymous usage data — which visas are checked most often, which providers are clicked, and general usage patterns. This data is stored in Supabase and cannot be linked to any individual person.

Affiliate Tracking

When you click a provider link, we record the click anonymously (session ID, visa type, provider name) for commission tracking purposes. No personal data is included. We have affiliate partnerships with insurance providers including Heymondo and SafetyWing. Clicking their links may set cookies on those providers’ websites according to their own privacy policies.

Third Party Services

We use the following third-party services: • Supabase — Database storage (hosted in the EU) • Anthropic Claude API — AI responses (data deleted after 7 days, never used for training) • Vercel — Website hosting Each service has their own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing them if you have concerns.

Data Retention

Anonymous analytics and click tracking data is retained indefinitely to improve our service. Chat conversations are not permanently stored. Anthropic deletes API data after 7 days.

Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Since we do not intentionally collect personally identifiable information, there is generally nothing to delete or export. If you have provided personal information in the chat and wish to exercise your rights, contact us at the email below.

Your Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion. As stated above, we do not intentionally collect personally identifiable information. For any concerns, contact us at the email below.
